World Matchplay Betting with William Hill

The 15th annual staging of the World Matchplay Championship took place between Sunday 20 July and Saturday 26 July at the Winter Gardens in Blackpool. The tournament is regarded as the second biggest PDC tournament. The tournament is unique as there is no deciding leg so play continues until a player leads by two clear legs.

This year's tournament included all the best PDC players including world number one Phil Taylor, world champion John Part and last year's world matchplay champion James Wade. Yet another major tournament was dominated by Phil Taylor who convincingly won his ninth world matchplay title by dispatching James Wade in the final.
